Where is Toranfield House?

Located near Ireland's famous Powerscourt Waterfall, Toranfield House is tucked into 40 acres of the most beautiful scenery in the country, with views of quiet woodlands, rolling fields and the picturesque Sugarloaf Mountain. The low buildings of this peaceful haven were designed to blend in to the natural surroundings, and indeed the entire facility has been designed and built with comfort, tranquility and luxury in mind.

The facility has been designed to provide the very best environment for recovery. From the friendly reception area with its stone fireplace to the sunny, stylish dining room, the plush relaxation lounge (complete with snooker table) and the exquisite en suite rooms, Toranfield House exudes warmth and welcome.

Our treatment facilities are second-to-none. They include purpose-built treatment rooms, gender-sensitive areas, massage therapy rooms, physiotherapy, sauna as well as access to a fully accredited physical trainer.

Outdoors, the grounds are spectacular. There are endless woodland walks, verdant fields and a wild, meandering river. Our organic produce garden contributes to the delicious and healthy meals served here every day, an idyllic place to begin the path to recovery.
