Clinical Director at Toranfield House, Mr. Colman Dunne gave a talk on addiction progression to an audience of GPs at the Hermitage Medical Clinic on March 2nd. One of the focus points of Colman’s talk was the importance of the GP in catching the early signs of addiction in both the person suffering addiction and their family. Colman referred to the crucial nature of early referral to professional help in providing lasting outcomes from rehabilitation. Also talking on the night were Dr Susan McKiernan and Mr. Rolande Anderson.
