At Toranfield House our addiction treatment programme is centred on the Dynamic Individualised Care Plan we develop for each client. This plan is fully comprehensive with input from our Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Physicians and Addiction Counsellors to address the addiction and any co-occurring mental health issues.

We deliver a fully integrated, evidence based, dual diagnosis therapy programme that is continually tailored to your evolving individual needs.

Our goal is to address all the issues that have derailed your life, family, relationships and your health. At our residential rehabilitation clinic we treat you as a whole person and help you to develop the tools you need to get your life back on track.

Family Care Programme

We offer programmes for family, friends or significant others who may have been affected by addiction. Appropriate family therapy is so critical to the long term success of our clients that our Family Programme is led by our most senior clinicians. The health of families is a fundamental part of our approach to treatment. We know from our years of experience that when someone suffers from an addiction, their family and friends are affected by the symptoms of their illness

On-site detox

Because we provide detox onsite our clients are able to begin the important rehabilitation process earlier, while remaining under the guidance and care of the medical team. In addition the continuity of being treated by the same integrated team for detox and rehab means a deeper understanding and more focused approach to treatment.

Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment

Dual Diagnosis is the integrated process of simultaneously treating both the addictive behaviour and any underlying trauma, mental health issues or psychological root sources that contribute to addictive behaviour. The Dual Diagnosis approach sets out to empower clients beyond recovery, to give them the tools and confidence to regain control of their lives, helping them achieve lasting, lifelong freedom from addiction.

Natural lifestyle in an idyllic setting

Located near Ireland's famous Powerscourt Waterfall, Toranfield House is tucked into 40 acres of the most beautiful scenery in the country, with views of quiet woodlands, rolling fields and the picturesque Sugarloaf Mountain. The low buildings of this peaceful haven were designed to blend in to the natural surroundings, and indeed the entire facility has been designed and built with comfort, tranquillity and luxury in mind.

The grounds are spectacular. There are endless woodland walks, verdant fields and a wild, meandering river. Our organic produce garden contributes to the delicious and healthy meals served here every day, an idyllic place to begin the path to recovery.

Toranfield House is an addiction clinic that doesn’t feel like an addiction clinic. Instead, it has the warm, welcoming ethos of a place of peace and healing.

The facility has been designed to provide the very best environment for recovery. From the friendly reception area with its stone fireplace to the sunny, stylish dining room, the plush relaxation lounge (complete with snooker table) and the exquisite en suite rooms, Toranfield House exudes warmth and welcome.

Our treatment facilities are second-to-none. They include purpose built treatment rooms, gender-sensitive areas, massage therapy rooms, physiotherapy, as well as well as access to a fully accredited physical trainer and sauna.

A sense of belonging and being integrated with your community are important building blocks for our clients' recovery. At Toranfield House we believe these ideals are good life lessons for everyone, including us.
